Georgia Lynch

Mrs. Lynch established Community Development Center, Inc. in 2004, to connect families, individuals, and communities to resources that could enrich their lives, improve their quality of living, and build resilience.

Our Mission

Supporting seniors, children, and individuals in Nash and Edgecombe Counties through resources, education, and outreach.

Our Impact

Annual reach range is based on funding availability, number of distribution events, and partner capacity.

Our History

This organization started through one woman's determination to help others in the community of Rocky Mount, NC. Georgia Lynch could not bear to see families struggling to make ends meet so she searched and developed partnerships with others who had the means and resources to help make a difference. Mrs. Lynch connected with those in need through collaborations with school systems, social workers, and a host of other organizations. In 2026, Mrs. Lynch is still on her mission to unite families and communities through love and support.
